Prosper India Foundation - Empowering India's Future

Education

In India, in 2024

  • 1.4 million students appeared for JEE (Entrance exam for Engineering)

  • 2.4 million students appeared for NEET (Entrance exam for Medical Studies)

  • 1.3 million students appeared in UPSC (for Indian Administration Services)

Upper and middle class of India (and small part of lower middle class) continues to churn out millions of Engineers, Doctors and Administrative staff every year. How do we continue to create employment for them at such a massive speed remains a problem.

On the other hand, millions of other students lack basic education. Many of them in 5th grade/class lack skills to solve 2nd grade/class English and Math problems.

How do we contribute to education?

We collaborate with rural schools (both Government and private schools), encourage and guide students to prepare and appear for SOF IMO (Science Olympiad Foundation - International Mathematics Olympiad). We also provide them with study material and guidance.

Those scoring good scores are eligible for our 'means cum merit' scholarship. We sponsor their school fees and college education for as long as they continue to score good in yearly IMO exams.

We also guide and support these performing students for higher education.
